If I Was A Monkey Listening To An Ipod.....

Well we were using Microsoft Digital Image Suite 2006 Editor and i was suppose to take a picture of myself and edit it to make somthing completely weird. So i came up with this idea after a while. I made an Ironman with a cat head and a dragon breathing fire on toast. I ran through alot of ideas before i came to end on this one. I like it a bunch and yeah i did end up looking like an idiot on this one, but its all okay. Go Ipod!

02/13/08 Internship

This was my first official day of my internship. It was pretty fun. I had to wait like an hour to see my director because he was in a meeting. After that I had to wait for him to get some messages on his phone. Then we finally got to work. They thaught me little bit about how to ghost a computer and then I changed names on computers. My time there was nearly up so they gave me a security card so I don't have to sign in when I get into the building. Then i left. It was fun, but I wanted to do more with computers. It is only the first day so there has to be more. I hope there will be.

Review of the Advanced Computer Class

The mid-term for computer class was pretty fun.

The mid-term was the last four posts.

It was more interactive than the other mid-terms at school. The math one was a lot of work, but it was really easy. English was good too because it was explained really fast and I write quick( the mid-term was a written two page explanation of the plays we did in front of the school). The others weren't much different. The work took a while for this mid-term though, but it was worth it.

What is the internet and how does it work?

The internet is a militarty operation made by bthe united states to connect the entire worlds technology and information. It was made a long time ago by rabid monkey aliens that came from the planet neptune. These aliens were also known as scientists and were very intelligent. Now the internet is one of the biggest things made. Everyone uses it, but doesn't know how to fully use its functions. The internet is a very mysterious object of time.

Why do we use publisher?

Many people use publisher. It is a very useful thing to use for projects and greeting cards, brochures, flyers, business cards, calenders and many other things.

I have used it many times before for works.

Why, when, how, and where would you use powerpoint?

PowerPoint is one of the best programs made. It can be used for pretty much everything. Such as office works, presentations, school works, and many others.

The Personal Computer

The computer is a very complicated and sophisticated device. It is composed of many articles of technology and, if explained correctly, can be easy to understand. The following will just be a run through of the major parts of the computer.

USB Ports

USB stands for Universal Serial Bus. It is used to transfer information from one device to another such as a thumb drive or a mouse. It is one of the most common ports on a computer and there are probably mroe of these ports on your computer than any other kind of port.

Ethernet Port

An Ethernet port is used to connect a computer to a LAN network. LAN stands for Local Area Network meaning internet that is set in a certain area. Ethernet is used for things like Gaming tournaments to transfers of information.

FireWire Ports


Firewire ports are most common on Apple brand computers. It is used to accelerate USB port functions. It is essentially a support for an information transfer. Sort of like a back up.

ATA Cables


ATA cables are used to connect the hard drive to the motherboard. ATA is the new format for these connecting cables, but is coming along nicely.

Power Supply


The power supply is the power house of the computer. This is where the entire computer gets its electricity to run all of its systems. If a computer didn't have a power supply it would not work.

AGP Ports


AGP ports are a high speed point to point channel to connect a graphics card to the mother board. There are usually multiple of them on the mother board.

PCI slots


PCI slots are used to attach peripherals to the computer. Such as mouses and keyboards. You probably wouldn't be able to get to this page if you didn't have thesse ports.

PCI Express


PCI Express is the same as regular PCI slots, but they are quicker and more modernized than the latter model. They only come in the new computers and mother boards.

CPU


The CPU is the Central Processing Unit. It is where all commands of the computer go through to get assessed and then sent out. It is one of the most important part of the computer because it pretty much checks everything the computer needs.

RAM


RAM stands for Random Access Memory. It is used to accelerate the computers proccessing speed. Buying one of these is the cheapest way to speed your computer up.

Heat Sink


The heat sink stands on top of the CPU. It is used to filter all heat that is produced by the computer. The heat sink is there to cool down the computer and the CPU.

Hard Drive


The hard drive is the storage of the computer. This is where all of the files you make on your computer are stored so you can later view them. Unlike RAM where you only have the things saved for a certain amount of time.

IDE Cables


IDE cables are the older version of the hard drive connection. They are a bit slower than the ATA cables, but are still good to have.


The motherboard


The mother board is the center of the computer. It is where everything is connected and placed to work.

2008.... The year of the Playstation 3

The glorious Playstation 3 in all of it's fantasticness. Its going to be a great year for this system. With games like Killzone 2, Resistence 2, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, and many more great exclusive hits coming out it will be a great year to own one. Though Grand Theft Auto 4 is not going to be an exclusive title for the Playstation 3 it will still come out for the system. Most games that are coming out for the Playstation 3 will be online compatible, which will help in the advancement of the slow churning Playstation 3 play ground. Killzone 2

Killzone 2, at least for me, will be one of the best games of the year. Its graphics are way too good and the original game was fantastic so this one should be just as good or even better. The only problem with this game is that some people are saying that the A.I. on it is bad, but the company should fix it by the release of the game. It is due in a couple of months so you should check it out.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance

Marvel Ultimate Alliance is a great game. It is an RPG with Marvel super heroes. Thats really all you need to know to get this game. The story line is great and the game is considerably addictive. The game cost lower than seventy dollars and depending on which system you get it for the game could bring extra characters like The Incredible Hulk, Moon Knight, Colosus, and more.

This picture is an image from the new Ironman movie coming early this year. It is about...... Ironman! Well thius is another movie that i hope will be good. It is going to be one part of a triglogy of Ironman movies. The story of the other movies aren't well known, but the second movie will explain Ironman's alcoholism and troubles with alcohol.

This is a picture of the new Dark Knight movie. It is coming out early this year. I'm counting on it being good (sicne i'm at the movie theatre almost every friday). This one continues the last movie Batman Begins. If you didn't see the first one you should jump off a bridge! Don't forget to bring a parachute though.

January 14- January 18, 2008

This week has really been made out bad. A snow day (They shut the school down for two inches of snow -_-), a normal day, another normal day, then there is ice skating and a ski trip, and after that is a half day of school. I'm not complianing about the shorter days, but i would like more time to work on my plays for Mr. Foote and Ms. Abramov. Thats the only complaint I have. I liked the snow day the best because i got to level my Blood Elf Priest, on Sargeras, to level twenty. That and the next day I got up to episode twenty on Trigun. Well thats it. I hope they have more of these days off and half days because the seniors could really use a break from all of this work. ^^

First Topic of the day

Well let me tell you a littl bit about me. I LOVE video games. Thats a little bit right? Well because of this I will make my blog a video game preview and review blog. To start i'll preview Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
Well if you know anything about gaming you'd know that the Metal Gear Solid series is one of the most popular game series in the world. The game is based on the story of the life of super soldier code named Solid Snake. The game shows Snake fending off secret military organizations and destroying giant mechs called Metal Gears.
In the new installment of the game Solid Snake is older and the world is run by companies that sell war and make profit from it. Solid Snake is called in to end the function of these companies.
The game is supposed to end the series. Most of the old characters from the orignal are coming back with completely new looks. The come back characters include Raiden, Meryl, Liquid Snake, and many more. There are also new groups of soldiers like the Frog Unit, which have frog-like abilities. Also the new Fox Hound Unit, which will be helping Solid Snake out on his journey.
All in all, this new installment of the series will be written down in history as one of the best games of all time. The game is set for a release in the second quarter of 2008. This is going to be a good one to catch. For more information you can check
